Ich habe heute die Ehre, an einer Performance des Kunstmeisters Tatsumi Orimoto aus Japan teilzunehmen.
Zusammen mit dem Künstler Thomas von Arx werde ich ihn in einem surrealistischen Kampf begleiten, in dem sich Baguettes und Boxhandschuhe kennenlernen werden.

This is an exhibition about the sprit and the energy of 2 Japanese artists.
Takahiro is an artist who has been writing a Japanese word "IKIRO", which means "Be
alive", every day.
Hironari is an artist who makes a turning car sculpture, and performs with it.
This time he will use a Trabant for his work and perform with Japanese music.
Takahiro and Hironari have similar backgrounds in their lives. Both of them
worked as construction workers to live, when they were younger in Japan.
They also went to many countries in the world to produce their artworks.
They met in Berlin in 2006 by coincidence.
At the opening Takahiro and Hironari will make a kind of ritualistic performance.
Takahiro will write "IKIRO" on Hironari's body and shave Hironari's hair into the symbol of "IKIRO".
